TROY WINS OVER TOWN TWICE
Town have signed Wales U19 international Troy Brown on a one year contract.
The defender was released by Fulham towards the end of last season and impressed Roy Keane while on trial with Blues.
He spent a month with Town and was first offered a deal by then Blues boss Jim Magilton before his departure, the 18-year-old then doing enough in a reserve team game and training to win a 12 month contract from Roy.
"I suppose it's a bit different, having to impress two managers to get a contract here but I'm delighted," Troy told the Club website.
"Jim Magilton offered me a deal after I had been at Ipswich a couple of weeks and then the new manager came in and I played in the reserves against Leyton Orient and it went okay.
"The manager has said that I will get a chance to show what I can do this season and I'm looking forward to the opportunity.
"I was disappointed when Fulham let me go. I had been there since I was seven and I still love the club but I want to prove them wrong and this is a chance for me to do that.
"My aim is to break into the first-team here. I know that is not going to be easy but that has to be the target and if I do that, it will improve my chances of extending my contract here."
